Assistant Cook

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Cook to join their kitchen team on a temporary basis.

About the Role:

As an Assistant Cook, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, helping to prepare delicious and nutritious meals for a variety of clients. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a genuine love for cooking. The successful candidate will work closely with the head chef and kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.


• Help maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.


• Support the head chef in menu planning and ingredient sourcing.


• Assist with inventory management and stock control.

Our client is looking for a candidate who is:

• Passionate about cooking and food preparation.


• Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene practises.


• Able to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.


• Flexible and willing to take on various kitchen duties as needed.


• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
