<h3><strong>Position Description</strong></h3></div><p class="PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer" data-start="21" data-end="727">The Assistant Controller supports the Controller in directing the Company's accounting, financial reporting, treasury management, and government contract accounting functions. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other government contracting requirements. The Assistant Controller oversees the monthly financial close process, maintains internal controls, supports government audits, manages treasury activities, and serves as a key financial partner to executive leadership. </p>

<ul>
<li data-section-id="4y69zf" data-start="787" data-end="962">Assist the Controller in directing all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and project accounting.</li>
<li data-section-id="4oo4m4" data-start="963" data-end="1031">Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process.</li>
<li data-section-id="1rw5gxt" data-start="1032" data-end="1138">Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.</li>
<li data-section-id="apumgv" data-start="1139" data-end="1201">Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.</li>
<li data-section-id="1dh37xz" data-start="1202" data-end="1281">Maintain and strengthen internal accounting controls and financial processes.</li>

<li data-start="1283" data-end="1317"><strong data-start="1283" data-end="1317">Government Contract Accounting</strong>
<ul>
<li data-section-id="oiia4j" data-start="1318" data-end="1404">Ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, DCAA, and other government contracting regulations.</li>
<li data-section-id="1kajz3u" data-start="1405" data-end="1499">Oversee project setup, indirect cost allocations, contract funding, and revenue recognition.</li>
<li data-section-id="191ride" data-start="1500" data-end="1626">Support the preparation of Incurred Cost Submissions, Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRP), and indirect rate calculations.</li>
<li data-section-id="eog64t" data-start="1627" data-end="1694">Coordinate and support DCAA, DCMA, and external financial audits.</li>
<li data-section-id="1mn6a9i" data-start="1695" data-end="1798">Monitor contract profitability and advise management on financial performance and compliance matters.</li>

<li data-section-id="lvvzpz" data-start="1824" data-end="1951">Oversee the Company's daily treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and banking relationships.</li>
<li data-section-id="q05yv2" data-start="1952" data-end="2015">Prepare and monitor short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.</li>
<li data-section-id="ok7s1w" data-start="2016" data-end="2115">Manage electronic funds transfers, wire transactions, positive pay, and other banking activities.</li>
<li data-section-id="jiouez" data-start="2116" data-end="2198">Coordinate debt compliance, banking agreements, and corporate credit facilities.</li>
<li data-section-id="10w2ied" data-start="2199" data-end="2303">Optimize cash utilization while maintaining appropriate liquidity to support operational requirements.</li>
<li data-section-id="6jes43" data-start="2304" data-end="2436">Assist with investment management and other treasury-related initiatives as directed by the Controller or Chief Financial Officer.</li>

<ul>
<li data-section-id="1y63mva" data-start="3868" data-end="3938">Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.</li>
<li data-section-id="186zm1h" data-start="3939" data-end="3998">Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience.</li>
<li data-section-id="sfq427" data-start="3999" data-end="4088">Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience supporting a federal government contractor.</li>
<li data-section-id="1vvbh53" data-start="4089" data-end="4161">Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or accounting management experience.</li>
