We are looking for an Assistant Contract Manager / Logistics Administrator to join our team at our Heyford depot.
This is a varied role suited to an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a busy service environment and is confident dealing with engineers, customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and manage jobs for work carried out by engineers, ensuring records are accurate and kept up to date.
- Assist the Depot Manager with day\-to\-day administrative requirements.
- Support the scheduling and coordination of engineers' daily workloads.
- Assist with handling breakdown calls and arranging engineer attendance.
- Ensure all service department administration is completed accurately and on time.
- Answer telephone calls and liaise professionally with customers, engineers and colleagues.
- Order parts required for urgent works.
- Provide general support to the service team and assist with other reasonable duties as required.
- Has previous experience working within a service, engineering or maintenance environment.
- Has at least 2 years' administration experience.
- Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Can prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is confident using computers and Microsoft Office.
- Can work effectively in a busy, fast\-paced environment.
- Is a reliable and supportive team player.
- Takes a proactive approach and is able to work using their own initiative.
- Has a full clean UK driving licence and their own transport due to the location of the depot.
