Assistant Pub Manager (Full-Time - 40 Hours per week)

Salary: £28,000 per annum + Live-in Opportunity, ALL BILLS PAID

I am recruiting for a welcoming, family-run pub looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Pub Manager to join their friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant venue that serves quality food and drinks, and hosts regular events including quizzes and community gatherings. This pub has a local reputation and is looking for a person who will strive to take the pub forward.

The Role

As Assistant Pub Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring excellent customer service and a warm, inviting atmosphere for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Pub Manager in the smooth operation of the business


• Deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example


• Help manage staff, including training and rota planning


• Oversee food and drink service to ensure high standards


• Assist with stock control, ordering, and cash handling


• Support the organisation of events such as quiz nights and special functions


• Step up to manage the pub in the absence of the Manager

• Previous experience in hospitality or pub management


• Passionate about customer service and creating great experiences


• Positive, energetic, and a strong team player


• Well organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment


• Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends

• Competitive salary of £33,000 per annum
