This is a fantastic temporary opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to start ASAP The role is based in Braunstone and is for 3 months initially. This is an office based role, and you could either do 4 or 5 days,

Client Details

Our client is a medium sized manufacturing business with a team of 6 in finance.

Description

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts


• Posting journals, accruals and prepayments


• Financial reporting


• Assist with audit duties


• Deal with queries


• Raise sales invoices, help out with ledger work


• Reconciliatons

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial processes.


• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.


• Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.


• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.


• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.


• Good communication skills for liaising with colleagues and stakeholders.


• Previous experience in a similar role within the business services industry is advantageous.

Job Offer

• An hourly pay rate equivalent of £35-40k + holidays.
