Assembly Operative
Job Description:
Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Assembly Operative on behalf of our client based in Bishop’s Stortford, on a temp-to-perm basis.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a good understanding of process control, quality, and the use of hand tools.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Reading and following drawings and work instructions accurately to produce high-quality products.
- Understanding time management, logistics, and process control to achieve or exceed production targets.
- Maintaining records and adhering to quality and regulatory processes with consistency.
- Performing general production and finishing tasks as required.
- Using hand tools safely and efficiently for electrical and mechanical production work.
- Assisting in the preparation and assembly of materials and components.
- Undertaking other general duties within the production department where required.
- Previous experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing work.
- Grit blasting, powder coating, or similar finishing experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hand tools and confidence in their use.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Health and safety conscious.
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
