The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assembly Manager to lead our assembly operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day\-to\-day management of the assembly/delivery department, ensuring products are assembled efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands\-on leader who can drive productivity, develop team performance, and support the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, supervise and participate in all assembly department activities including goods in and out, assembly, maintenance and repair work.
- Lead, motivate, and develop assembly team members.
- Ensure all products are assembled in accordance with company specifications and quality standards.
- Work closely with the managing director to ensure plan work schedule around customer requirements.
Essential
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Experience managing production schedules and meeting deadlines.
- Strong mechanical understanding.
- Good problem\-solving and decision\-making skills.
- Experience within the agricultural machinery, engineering, or fabrication sectors.
- Practical, hands on experience.
- Forklift/telehandler driving.
