Asbestos Bid Manager / Commercial Tender Manager
Due to continued growth and increasing demand, Blue A is looking to recruit an experienced and commercially focused Asbestos Bid Manager to join our team. This is a key office\-based role within a fast\-growing asbestos and construction business. We are looking for somebody organised, motivated, and capable of managing multiple tenders and commercial opportunities simultaneously while maintaining exceptionally high standards.

Blue A is an established asbestos surveying, asbestos removal, and reinstatement company operating across the South East. We are recognised for our technical standards, strong project management, and long\-standing client relationships across both domestic and commercial sectors. As the business continues to expand, we are strengthening our tendering and commercial division and are looking for the right individual to help drive this forward.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying tender opportunities, preparing submissions, coordinating departments, and supporting the company’s continued commercial growth. You will manage the tender process from initial opportunity review through to final submission and post\-tender feedback.
Key Responsibilities
· Identifying asbestos and construction tender opportunities
· Managing PQQs, SQs, EOIs, and full tender submissions
· Coordinating information from operations, estimating, finance, marketing, and technical teams
· Preparing high\-quality technical and commercial bid submissions
· Reviewing tender requirements and ensuring submissions remain compliant and accurate
· Managing deadlines and submission schedules
· Building relationships with clients, procurement teams, and framework providers
· Assisting with pricing strategies and commercial reviews
· Maintaining tender libraries, supporting documents, and case studies
· Supporting continual improvement of tender documentation and presentation standards
· Monitoring tender portals and commercial opportunities
Requirements
· Previous experience in bid management, tender management, commercial sales, or similar roles
· Experience within asbestos, construction, demolition, environmental, or related industries would be highly beneficial
· Strong organisational and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
· Professional and commercially aware approach
· Strong written English and presentation skills
· Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
Desirable Qualifications
· P401 / P402 / P403 / P404
· Experience with public\-sector tenders and procurement systems
· Knowledge of asbestos surveying or asbestos removal operations
Office \& Remote Working
This role is primarily office based.
