AREA SALES MANAGER

DACH REGION, NORDICS \& EASTERN\-EUROPE

Essential duties \& responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.


• Assess business conditions by geography and vertical market.


• Meet key clients, building relationships and negotiating to bring on new business.


• Provide samples, trials and support for prospective and current customers.


• Identify and evaluate new opportunities.


• Generate target list of large end\-user customers to pursue.


• Direct and maintain sales forecasting activities.


• Manage customer financial management.


• Communicate competitive market pricing.


• Attend trade\-related events that enhance account relationships and the

• Report to the Director Sales and Marketing.

• Bachelor/Master degree in chemistry or economy or engineering or equivalent by experience.


• Min. 10 years of commercial B2B experience in both distributor management and direct prospection


• Experience in the sale of fluorescent pigments is not required. Experience in the (chemical) industry

Skills

• Sales relationship builder with “hunting” mindset.


• Willing to travel abroad (max 2 weeks per month).


• Good knowledge of English and German
