Job description Role: Area Sales Manager
Reporting to: MD UK \& Ireland
Location: Home Based with occasional travel to UK office in Yate \& company headquarters in Italy.
This is an essential role within our UK \& ROI operation reporting directly to our Sales Director. The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be a brand ambassador for Giacomini. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strong relationships with mechanical contractors, consultants, and specialists within their designated territory, that will result in sustainable sales growth on the territory and for the business This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC components, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Job Responsibilities: \-
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long\-term relationships with mechanical contractors, consultants, and specialists within the assigned territory.
Understand customers' specific needs, challenges, and project requirements.
Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain an in\-depth understanding of our HVAC components and how they meet customer needs.
Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned territory to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
Generate and track new enquiries from specification to quote to order and aftersales.
Proposal Management: Present quotations, proposals, and bids to customers.
Collaborate with the internal team and directors to ensure accurate and competitive accurate pricing.
Specification Development: Gain specification of Giacomini products by understanding and presenting them well.
Organise CPDs where possible.
Market Research: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Use market insights to adapt and improve sales strategies.
Sales Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts. Via use of tools such as CRM (Hub Spot)
Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market feedback.
Brand Development (Marketing): Promote and Enhance the brand Giacomini through various channels, such as social media, industry events, social activities and customer factory visits, in line with company policies.
Any other duties deemed essential for success.
Key Results \& Objectives: \-
Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for Giacomini products within the assigned territory.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, responsiveness, and problem\-solving.
Market Expansion: Identify and capture new market opportunities, expanding the customer base and revenue stream.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of HVAC components and their applications, enabling effective customer support and sales presentations and CPDs
Competitive Analysis: Provide insights on competitor activities and market trends to shape the company's strategic decisions.

Achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
Product knowledge dissemination and technical support to customers.

Pay: £50,000\.00\-£60,000\.00 per year
