Conaty Food and Catering Supplies is one of Ireland's leading catering suppliers to the hospitality industry. Established in 1970, we supply more than 18,000 food, catering and equipment products to a customer base of over 2,000 hotels, restaurants, bars, cafés and catering businesses nationwide
As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and customer\-focused Area Sales Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, winning new business and driving sales growth within a fast\-paced commercial environment.
The Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you will manage and grow an established portfolio of customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities across the hospitality and foodservice sector. You will represent our company and offer customers a comprehensive range of food and catering products, delivering exceptional service while maximising sales opportunities.
This position is ideally suited to someone who is self\-motivated, commercially driven and enjoys working independently while building long term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Sales and Relationship Management
Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
Develop new business opportunities across hotels, restaurants etc.,
Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and regular account management.
Promote our full product range to maximise sales and revenue opportunities.
Business Development \& Operational Support
Prepare customer quotations and identify opportunities for business growth.
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and order fulfilment.
Represent the company professionally at all times.

Previous experience in a Sales or Account Management role.
Strong relationship building and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Good IT skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
Full clean driving license.
