The Role
As an Area Manager, you’ll lead a high\-performing team of up to 12 field based product sales advIsors across a designated UK region. You’ll be the driving force behind their sales success, coaching, development, and daily execution. This is a field\-based role requiring regular, in\-person team visits to provide hands\-on support and leadership.
You'll champion performance, identify new retail opportunities, and strategically match stores with your team’s individual strengths—maximising impact and unlocking sales potential.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Leadership \& Performance
- Drive your team's performance to exceed KPIs through coaching, clear goal\-setting, and day\-to\-day support
- Monitor real\-time metrics, proactively addressing issues and escalating when needed
- Deliver impactful field training, especially for new starters and underperformers
- Uphold high standards of presentation, customer experience, and sales execution
- Manage attendance and performance, including PIPs for consistent improvement
- Identify and onboard high\-potential retail environments in your region
- Align the right stores with the right team members to drive sales output
- Own your region’s sales targets and deliver sustained performance across all metrics
- Ensure strong communication of IQOS’ value proposition and key product benefits.
- Be the go\-to expert for your team on everything from sales techniques to store operations
- Foster a positive, purpose\-driven team culture with recognition and morale\-building
- Support onboarding, ongoing development, and tailored coaching for every team member
- Maintain high standards of compliance, customer journey, and brand representation.
- Submit detailed weekly plans, schedules, and daily reports on time
- Analyse performance data to extract insights and take action
- Oversee kit logistics, ensuring all equipment is fully functional and well\-maintained
- A valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
- Live within reasonable proximity of designated region
- 2\+ years’ experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a team management role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- A proven track record in target\-driven environments
- High attention to detail and a passion for developing people
