Experienced Area Managers Required

You will need to be a confident natural communicator, thrive on building relationships, and know how to manage and motivate a team. Ideal Candidates will have industry experience managing commercial office spaces in London.

- Background in Multi Site Cleaning Management
- Desirable but not essential: a bilingual candidate who speaks good Spanish and English
Your role as an Area Manager is primarily to oversee the day\-to\-day operations across a portfolio of multiple sites in Central London (up to \~30 sites). Each day is varied, fast\-paced, and hands\-on.
Depending on business needs but includes about 10 hours working on\-site per day Monday to Friday, usually between 10am \- 8pm.
HOWEVER, FLEXIBILITY IS REQUIRED: your schedule may adjust occasionally based on client requirements and operational demands. For instance, you may be asked to start as early as 6am some days and leave early; or start later and finish as late as 10pm.
Your Key Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular in person meetings, combined with phone and email contact.
- Ensure our high standards are delivered across the portfolio.
- Handling day\-to\-day admin tasks, including writing cleaning specifications, training guides, designing site posters, using iPhone and laptop tools, and working with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Overseeing and mentoring your team of supervisors.
- Managing people, training, and team development.
- Creating and delivering weekly payroll reports.
- Overseeing health and safety audits, conducting site inspections, and maintaining Hive’s renowned high standards.
- Organising periodic cleans, checking stock levels, and an understanding how to correctly use cleaning machinery.
- Scheduling and covering shifts due to holiday, sickness, or emergencies.
- Supporting and mentoring cleaners, supervisors, and reporting to your Account manager.
- Participating in company events and training sessions—and even helping to build them!
- Occasionally working weekends if needed (for additional payment), and willing to travel across Central London.
