Job Title: Area Manager

Reports To: Operations Director / Head of Operations

Location: Multi\-site (various store locations)

Role Overview

The Area Manager is at the heart of driving energy, performance, and culture across

multiple stores within the region. This is a hands\-on leadership role for someone who loves

being in the action, supporting teams on the floor, developing great people, and creating

stores that deliver outstanding customer experiences every day.

Working closely with Store Managers, the Area Manager inspires teams to achieve strong

sales performance, operational excellence, and the highest standards in food safety

and customer service. Through coaching, problem\-solving, and leading by example, the

role focuses on building confident teams and high\-performing stores.

As the key connection between Head Office and the stores, the Area Manager brings

company values and brand standards to life while making sure every location feels

supported, motivated, and aligned. It’s a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their

sleeves, celebrating team success, solving challenges, and helping people grow—all

while ensuring the business continues to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations across all assigned stores.

  • Ensure stores comply with company procedures, operational standards, and
brand guidelines.
  • Conduct regular store audits and performance reviews.

  • Identify operational improvements and implement action plans.

  • Ensure stores maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and
compliance.

2\. Financial Performance

  • Monitor store sales, labour costs, and COGS.

  • Support Store Managers in achieving budget targets and profitability goals.

  • Analyse financial reports and identify opportunities to improve performance.

  • Implement strategies to increase sales and operational efficiency.
3\. Team Leadership \& Development
  • Recruit, train, and develop Store Managers and key team members.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.

  • Support succession planning and internal development.

  • Ensure teams are motivated and aligned with company culture and values.
4\. Store Support \& Problem Solving
  • Provide hands\-on support to stores when operational issues arise.

  • Support new store openings and operational launches.

  • Work with Store Managers to resolve staffing, operational, or customer
issues.
  • Ensure effective communication between stores and Head Office.
5\. Compliance \& Food Safety
  • Ensure all stores follow food safety regulations and health \& safety
procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with company audits and certification standards.

  • Ensure all required documentation and training are completed.
6\. Customer Experience
  • Ensure stores deliver consistent and high\-quality customer service.

  • Monitor customer feedback and work with Store Managers to improve the
guest experience.
  • Address escalated customer complaints when required.

Skills \& Experience
  • Previous experience managing multiple retail or hospitality locations.

  • Strong financial and analytical skills.

  • Experience with operational systems and reporting tools.

  • Ability to understand, manage, and ensure compliance with company policies,
food safety, health \& safety, and regulatory requirements across all locations.

Working Conditions
  • Regular travel between stores.

  • Flexible working hours including weekends when required.

Pay: £45,000\.00\-£48,000\.00 per year
