Area Business Manager

Area Business Manager South East London Region | Full-Time | Permanent

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Area Business Manager to join a leading manufacturer within the waterproofing and roofing sector, covering the Southern Region.

This is a key role focused on specification sales, business development and territory growth, with responsibility for developing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities: • Drive specification sales and achieve/exceed sales and margin targets.

• Develop and grow relationships with Local Authorities, consultants, architects and roofing contractors.


• Identify and secure new business opportunities while strengthening existing accounts.


• Prepare specifications and quotations for clients and contractors.


• Conduct roof surveys and produce technical reports and specifications.


• Attend pre-start and site meetings.

About You: • Proven experience managing and growing a successful sales territory.

• Strong understanding of the construction industry and route-to-market.


• Experience within specification sales is highly desirable.


• Technical knowledge of the flat roofing industry would be advantageous.


• Commercially focused, self-motivated and results driven.


• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.


• Able to work independently and manage your own territory effectively.
