Area Branch Manager
As one of the fastest growing catering suppliers in the UK, we are looking to recruit an experienced Area branch manager, based at our head office in Bradford and making regular visits to all our sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating the ultimate shopping experience for our customers, ensuring they are given the highest level of service. You will inspire your team to ensure that our customers receive a perfectly tailored, hassle free experience. You achieve this by setting exceptional standards and leading your team to deliver high quality results.
As an Area Manager with us you will have full accountability for everything within your stores, as well as having responsibility for developing sales, stock management and financial accountability. You will be the driving force that ensures success for your team in providing the highest level of service to our customers. One of your key roles within the company will be to meet regularly with store managers, attaining new business as well as retaining current business. To this end, you will need excellent communicative skills, along with great product knowledge and a desire to maximise sales.
You will need to travel to all your responsible branches and ensure that targets are met, KPI are met by all staff whilst also ensuring that health and safety is to the highest possible standards.
Responsibilities
- Working with the company branch managers to assist with maintaining sales and ensuring a year of on year growth.
- To ensure all credit accounts are being managed correctly and within agreed terms.
- Making sure all branches are adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Identifying talent within the existing staff and promoting ensuring staff morale is high allowing us to provide the best possible customer service.
- Working within the operational function of the business to satisfy the demands required, providing support and guidance to other teams where required.
- When required pitch in and get a feel of the day to day job giving you first hand experience and allowing you to shape the direction according to the customers needs.
- whilst doing all of the above always ensuring safety is the no1 priority at all times, safety of the customers, staff and the business.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Good telephone manner \- can communicate effectively and professionally to all stakeholders.
- A logical thought process to resolve queries.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage personal workload, phone calls and queries.
- Ability to work on own, demonstrating drive and initiative.
- Team player, able to share ideas and techniques with other team colleagues to improve the business.
- Knowledge of the food, catering \& wholesale sector is a must.
- The ability to be self\-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets.

Pay: £45,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
