Position: Apprentice Lift Engineer
Location: Barnoldswick and surrounding areas

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work alongside one of our qualified lift engineers, gaining invaluable hands\-on experience while pursuing a fully accredited NVQ certification in lift installation. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience while earning a competitive salary. You will be taught everything you require to become a fully qualified lift engineer, including the engineering principles and electronics knowledge that enables you to carry out repairs and installations.

Full\-time
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Barnoldswick and surrounding areas: able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
- GCSE or equivalent \- Minimum of GCSE Grade 4 \- 9 (A\-C) passes in Maths and English.
- Full clean driving licence with no points or convictions.
You will shadow a fully qualified lift engineer to put skills to practice and gain invaluable hands\-on experience while pursuing a fully accredited NVQ certification in lift installation. After 1 year working with Proteclifts, you will be enrolled onto a college course to obtain your qualification. This can be completed between 1\-3 years, attending college once a month. You must complete the coursework within the given deadlines to the best of your ability.
