Your tasks

- Development of a cryogenic power supply unit for high\-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets
- Interdisciplinary conceptualization of the power supply integration with the magnet quench protection system
- Provide technical input for the integration of the power supply into the cryostat
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams of the HTS4SRI project, at PSI and ETH Zürich

- PhD degree in electrical engineering with focus on power electronics
- Experience in the optimization, design, realization, and characterization of power electronic converter systems
- Experience with high\-current multiphase dc\-dc converters, cryogenic systems and cryogenic (power) electronics or radiation\-hardened electronics is a plus
- You are a communicative and team\-oriented person who enjoys working in an interdisciplinary research environment
- Professional proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is an asset
