Andrology CNS (Benign & Cancer)
We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated and dynamic nurse to join the Andrology team. As an Andrology CNS, you will provide a seamless, high\-quality service to support patients undergoing surgical intervention for benign andrological conditions and genital cancers. The role involves co\-ordinating the patient treatment pathway, working with multidisciplinary teams and running nurse led clinics. You will be working alongside the existing Andrology Cancer CNS, Benign Andrology CNP, Andrology ANP, Lead Uro\-Oncology CNS, Andrology consultants and junior doctors within the team to provide a high\-quality service for andrology patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.

As a member of the Andrology CNS team, you will be expected to:
- Demonstrate clinical expertise with a focus on delivery of high\-quality care, support and pre/post operative management of patients with genital cancers and benign andrological conditions.
- Demonstrate advanced communication and interpersonal skills as well as a collaborative team working attitude.
- To perform an effective key role within both cancer and benign MDT’s to deliver waiting times targets and pathways communication.
- Demonstrate the ability to undertake expert case load management, manage own workload and prioritise the requirements of the service and the role.
- Update own clinical and specialist knowledge. Contribute to audit processes and undertake, where appropriate, nursing research with published outcomes
- To act as a specialist resource for patients and the clinical team by providing comprehensive advice, information, teaching and training both within UCLH and externally
- Promote excellence in clinical practice, and the setting of quality standards within the specialty
