Red Bull Powertrains are committed to supporting the development of all successful applicants and your aptitude and willingness to learn is just as important than specific skills or experience.

Based on our Milton Keynes campus, you will be responsible for running a wide range of fluid and thermal analyses, while working closely with other teams across Red Bull Powertrains to deliver maximum performance and flawless reliability. To be successful you must have knowledge of fluid or thermal analyses and be capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Attributes of the Successful Candidate:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships across the Red Bull Group

Required Knowledge and Experience for this Role:
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with 3\+ years of experience in CFD

  • Strong technical expertise in fluid mechanics and heat transfer principles

  • Advanced proficiency in CFD tools such as STAR\-CCM\+ or similar

Desirable Knowledge
  • Proven ability to apply structured, high\-quality fluid and thermal analysis within a fast\-paced, high\-performance environment

  • Solid understanding of system design principles

  • Experience in 1D system simulation is highly desirable, preferably using GT\-suite

  • Experience in scripting or automation for engineering applications (e.g. Python, Java, MATLAB)

  • Familiarity with data preparation techniques, as well as design exploration and optimisation methods

  • Experience in F1 hybrid power unit simulation is advantageous but high\-performance racing engine experience or involvement in high\-performance R\&D projects is recommended
