Alternative Provision Tutor (Term-time, Part-time, 25 hours p/week)
Future Pathways CIC is a leading AP (Alternative Provision) delivering education for young people not in mainstream education settings (aged 13\-16\) in Doncaster. We also run Holiday and Food Activities and other Pre and Post\-16 Education opportunities throughout the year out of term time.
Since 2019, 800 young people have benefitted from education with Future Pathways, we want to continue to grow that number. We have a fully subscribed AP with a capacity of 25 students, a boxing gym, a beauty salon, fully operational catering kitchen, joinery workshop, classrooms \& music studio.
We have built strong ties with mainstream schools and LAs based on high levels of service, trust and professionalism and we’re now one of the best performing APs in the borough.
Because of the wide variety of activities we put together for our young people, we’re want to ensure we’re doing everything we can to offer them a package of education to suit their individual needs.

- 6 weeks/30 days *paid* holiday entitlement

- Casual paid overtime available throughout the school holidays.

This Tutor role involves regular contact with children and is considered regulated activity.
Appointment will therefore be subject to Future Pathways’ safer recruitment procedures and satisfactory pre\-employment checks, including identity and right\-to\-work checks, references, an Enhanced DBS check with Children’s Barred List information, verification of relevant qualifications and any other checks applicable to the role.
Shortlisted candidates will also be subject to an online search as part of our safeguarding due diligence.
