ALN Support Assistant - September 2026 Start Are you an experienced ALN Support Assistant looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity in Cardiff from September 2026?

We are a specialist education recruitment agency currently seeking a dedicated ALN Support Assistant to join a specialist resource base (SRB) within a mainstream Primary School in Cardiff. This is a 5 day a week position starting on 1st September 2026.

This role would suit a skilled Teaching Assistant who thrives in an inclusive environment, is passionate about supporting pupil development, and is looking for a stable, long-term position within a supportive school community in Cardiff.

As an ALN Support Assistant, you will: • Provide tailored support to pupils with additional learning needs within an SRB setting

• Help create an engaging, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment


• Work collaboratively with teachers, ALNCOs, and wider support staff


• Promote independence, confidence, and positive outcomes for learners


• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and their families

What We're Looking For • Strong experience working as a Teaching Assistant or ALN Support Assistant

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach


• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills


• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional learning needs


• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
