Mission Brief 
As AIT Technician, you will join us on the arctic island of Andøya, and – as part of a small local AIT team – support onsite assembly, integration, test, and launch activities. Together with our dynamic multinational AIT and design teams based in Germany, and the local operations crew you will ensure flawless and timely delivery of flight hardware, and smooth conduction or test and launch campaigns.
Your Role in Our Space Mission: 
<ul>
<li>Shaping the launch site: Continuously improve the AIT infrastructure, and help develop it to compete with world class AIT facilities around the globe</li>
<li>High-Precision Assembly: Precise assembly of advanced space components</li>
<li>Machining Carbon Fiber Composites: Working with cutting-edge carbon fibre materials</li>
<li>Component and Assembly Testing: Validating the functionality of individual parts and complete assemblies</li>
<li>Test and Launch Support: Assisting in setting up and preparing the flight hardware for stage testing and launch</li>
<li>High Cleanliness Standards: Maintaining high cleanliness standards to ensure component integrity</li>
<li>Detailed Documentation: Accurately documenting work processes to maintain high standards and quality</li>
<li>Compliance with Standards: Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations</li>
<li>Process Improvement: Contributing to continuous process improvement</li>
</ul>
Qualification Checklist 
<ul>
<li>Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic specializing in production engineering, maintenance, engineering or comparable training in accordance with the requirements</li>
<li>Several years of professional experience in the field of aviation and/or aerospace</li>
<li>Excellent teamwork</li>
<li>Knowledge of gas/fluid bolting techniques</li>
<li>Good drawing skills, spatial awareness and good technical understanding</li>
<li>Willingness for occasional assembly work at different locations</li>
<li>High attention to detail and quality</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and in a highly dynamic environment</li>
<li>Foundational knowledge of computer and software applications</li>
<li>Well organized mode of working</li>
<li>Physical dexterity is required as working in confined spaces is necessary (including the ability to lift 25kg without assistance)</li>
<li>Class B driver’s license</li>
<li>Fluent in English (Norwegian and/or German are helpful)</li>
</ul>

<li>Any type of machinery licenses (forklift, craning, etc.)</li>
<li>Experience working with hazardous materials or systems under pressure</li>
</ul>
