Responsibilities The Building Compliance Test Technician will be responsible for:
- Conducting Air Tightness (Part L) testing on residential and commercial developments.
- Performing Sound Insulation Testing (Part E) when qualified.
- Preparing accurate reports and certifications within agreed timescales.
- Advising clients on practical remedial works where necessary.
- Managing workload and travelling to various sites across the UK.
- Representing the company in a professional capacity while upholding its reputation for technical excellence and customer service.
- Strong understanding of Building Regulations related to compliance testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Confidence in working independently and conducting site visits.
- Strong communication skills to build effective client relationships.
- Superb attention to detail and a dedication to high-quality standards.
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science.
- A full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points.
- Knowledge and experience in Sound Insulation Testing.
- Understanding of ventilation testing and wider Building Regulations compliance.
- Experience working both residential and commercial projects.
- Travelling to various sites across the UK for compliance testing.
- Interpreting and analysing test results, providing practical and professional feedback to clients.
- Creating detailed reports and certifications in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and developers to support compliance with Building Regulations.
- Efficiently managing schedules and deadlines while delivering exceptional customer service.
