Air Operations Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Maastricht.

Key responsibilities:

  • Processing orders for export air freight shipments, including preparing all necessary shipping documents for our charter flights

  • Verifying shipment data, cargo acceptance and warehouse processes at the airport

  • Confirming export declaration details and forwarding them to customs

  • Acting as the point of contact for customers in day\-to\-day business regarding dispatch queries

  • Ensuring compliance with air freight security regulations

  • Monitoring and supporting aircraft handling

  • Notifying our colleagues abroad of shipments via AWB

  • Processing returns and import shipments

Your profile:
  • Professional experience in the handling of air freight shipments and charter flights

  • Completed commercial training; training in freight forwarding/logistics is desirable

  • Additional qualification in customs or professional experience in customs clearance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and transport management systems

  • Structured and independent working style, including when working from home

  • Assertiveness, team spirit and enthusiasm

  • Very good written and spoken English

  • High level of commitment, dedication and resilience
