About the Role
Debonair Cooling is one of London's fastest\-growing air conditioning and climate control companies. We're looking for a driven Sales Consultant to manage incoming leads, carry out remote e\-surveys, and guide customers through to sale and installation \- mostly from our office, using video and our booking system rather than driving site to site.
Responsibilities
- Conduct remote e\-surveys via video call to assess client requirements for A/C installations, with occasional on\-site visits only where a job genuinely needs one
- Build rapport with clients over video and phone, and clearly explain system options
- Prepare and send quotations using our CRM system (Jobber)
- Follow up on all quotes with a structured, consistent process to close sales
- Identify opportunities for upsells (extra rooms, upgraded models, maintenance contracts)
- Review completed jobs — via photos, completion reports, and client follow\-up calls — to ensure installation quality and satisfaction
- Collect Google reviews, testimonials, and photo/video content post\-install
- Revisit quotes that didn't convert and maintain a 30\-day\+ follow\-up loop
- Represent Debonair at occasional networking events (builders, architects, designers) to generate new business
- Coordinate with the office and engineering teams to ensure smooth scheduling
- Support the marketing team with real\-world content and client insights
- Previous experience in sales (A/C or HVAC background ideal, but not essential)
- Confidence presenting options and closing deals over video and phone
- Strong communication and people skills — both verbal and written
- Detail\-oriented when assessing requirements from video surveys and quoting accurately
- Proactive, target\-driven, and organised — with strong follow\-up habits
- Comfortable running video calls and quick to pick up new software
- Good with tech (basic knowledge of Jobber, Google Drive, and CRM systems preferred)
- Self\-motivated with the ability to manage your own diary and pipeline
- £15,000 base salary
- High commission on closed deals
