We're an AI\-first company, and we work with grit, openness, and a good dose of joy.

About the role:

As our AI Transformation Engineer, you will be the critical bridge between Aceve’s engineering capabilities and the wider organisation, driving meaningful AI adoption across our six European markets. Sitting within the AI Transformation Team and reporting directly to the Head of AI, you’ll build practical internal AI solutions while equipping teams with the skills and confidence to use them. Success in this role means a measurably more AI\-enabled Aceve — where people across markets understand, trust, and actively use AI in their day\-to\-day work.

What will you do:

You’ll lead both the technical and human sides of AI transformation — building solutions, running enablement programmes, and keeping our AI Champions network thriving across Europe. Your work will span hands\-on engineering, facilitation, and change management in equal measure.

  • Design, build, and iterate on internal AI tools and automation solutions that solve real operational problems across the organisation.

  • Plan and deliver engaging AI workshops and training programmes tailored to varying levels of technical fluency across six European markets.

  • Manage and grow the AI Champions network, acting as the connective tissue between local market advocates and the central AI Transformation Team.

  • Partner with the engineering team to translate complex AI capabilities into accessible, practical use cases for non\-technical stakeholders.

  • Track and report on AI adoption metrics across markets, identifying gaps and opportunities to accelerate enablement.

  • Stay close to the fast\-moving AI landscape, surfacing relevant tools, models, and approaches that could benefit Aceve’s teams and products.
We believe you have:
  • 3\+ years of experience in an AI, data, or software engineering role, ideally within a fast\-paced SaaS or tech environment.

  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

  • Hands\-on proficiency with AI/ML tooling, LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic), and modern development frameworks.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering technical training or enablement programmes to mixed\-ability audiences.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to make complex concepts simple and compelling.

  • Comfort with regular European travel (30–40%) and working across multiple cultures and time zones.

  • A self\-starter mindset — you take initiative, navigate ambiguity well, and enjoy working at the intersection of technology and people.
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience building internal AI tools or automation workflows in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Familiarity with change management methodologies or community\-of\-practice models applied to technology adoption.
