At Matas Group, we aim to become a leader in AI\-driven retail. We are looking for an AI Project Manager to help turn that ambition into concrete solutions and measurable business impact across the Group.

In this key role, you will be a part of our Group AI Transformation Office responsible for driving transformative change across all group functions. This role offers you the opportunity to work with cutting\-edge technologies alongside a diverse group of people, making a direct impact on Matas Group’s organization and shaping the future of AI\-driven retail.

About the role

As an AI Project Manager, you will lead a variety of AI projects and initiatives, from more technology focused projects to business transformation, adoption and enablement.

You will report to the Head of AI Transformation Office and collaborate closely with our technology organization, external partners and key business stakeholders across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Your responsibilities will vary depending on your profile and experience, but your overall focus will be on driving successful adoption and integration of AI across the organization.

What you will do

• Lead cross\-functional AI projects from concept to implementation and adoption


• Translate business needs into actionable AI initiatives that deliver measurable value


• Collaborate closely with technology teams, external partners, and business stakeholders


• Ensure effective adoption of AI tools within the organization


• Be part of maintaining and evolving the AI operating model, including ways of working, AI Center of Excellence etc.


• Work with targeted AI enablement and hands\-on support for teams and functions


• Support AI strategy development, roadmap planning and prioritization

• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence across seniority levels


• Curious and creative mindset, comfortable challenging existing ways of working


• Analytical thinker with a structured but pragmatic approach to problem solving


• Self\-driven and comfortable operating in complex, fast\-changing environments

Qualifications

• 1\-5 years management consulting or project management experience within technology, or similar role


• Relevant educational background in business, engineering, technology, or a related field


• A genuine interest in AI, Generative AI, and emerging technologies


• Experience from retail, e\-commerce, or other consumer\-facing industries is an advantage, but not a requirement
