This is an AI\-native engineering role. You will use Claude, Claude Code, and modern Python tooling every day to build the internal systems that help us find, qualify, and engage potential investors during our Series A round. We provide a corporate Claude account, Claude Code access, GitHub, and any other tool that helps you ship faster.
Reporting to the FP\&A Manager and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will join a small, technical FP\&A team that already builds and maintains internal tools. You will partner with the FP\&A Manager on the design and development of new automations and reinforce the team's existing engineering capacity.
This is a hands\-on role for someone early in their career who enjoys shipping small tools fast, brings a digital\-first mindset, and is comfortable using AI to scale their own productivity. The work focuses on Python automation, LLM\-based workflows, and CRM operations, with broader scope across CFO Office automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Sourcing and Intelligence* Build and maintain data pipelines that ingest fund data from Crunchbase, Dealroom, and similar sources, with daily refresh.
Develop AI\-powered scoring logic to rank investors on * \-capability, sector fit, and stage fit, using both structured data and LLM\-based analysis of fund websites, partner profiles, and recent activity.
- Monitor news, fund announcements, partner publications, and competitive signals. Surface relevant findings to the CFO daily and through a structured weekly report.
- Track every interaction, meeting, and follow\-up. Surface stale conversations and missing actions.
- Build pipeline and conversion\-rate dashboards for the CFO and the CEO.
- Set up tracking on outreach response rates, conversion to meetings, and pipeline velocity.
- Contribute to cross\-functional platforms (investor CRM, news briefing tools, VDR workflows, procurement apps) that support the CFO Office.
- Direct involvement in the Series A and venture debt process from day one.

Requirements
Must\-Have* University degree, bootcamp graduate, or self\-taught equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related technical field.
- One to three years of programming experience (internships, side projects, and freelance work count).
- Strong Python skills (API integrations, JSON parsing, scheduled scripts, error handling, basic data engineering).
- Hands\-on experience with LLM APIs and prompting (Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent).
- Comfort with Git, GitHub, and shipping code that other people can run.
- Business English at C1 level (written and spoken).
- Strong bias for shipping. Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, agile, scale\-up environment.
- Discretion and reliability with confidential information.
- Strong structure, organization, and documentation discipline.
- Comfortable working on site full\-time at our Barcelona office (5 days per week).
Prior projects involving web scraping, data enrichment,* scoring, or sales and marketing operations tooling.
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Attio, Affinity) or workflow automation tools (Zapier, n8n, Make).
- A public portfolio: GitHub repositories, side projects, blog posts, or anything shipped end to end.
- Exposure to fundraising, venture capital, or startup operations.
- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase).
- Spanish, Catalan, or Portuguese proficiency.
