Job Purpose
Etraveli Group is actively piloting and scaling agentic AI across the organisation, in software
engineering, finance, sales analytics, and beyond. This role exists to bridge the gap between AI
capability and business value: identifying the right opportunities, rapidly prototyping solutions,
and ensuring every initiative is grounded in clear logic and measurable outcomes.
As AI Business Analyst, you will be a hands\-on contributor; building proof\-of\-concepts using
LLM APIs and agentic frameworks, participating in AI architecture discussions, and translating
what is technically possible into what is actually worth doing. You will work closely with the
Senior Director of Data \& BI and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business
stakeholders across the organisation.
This is not a purely analytical role. The right person writes code, builds things quickly, and
knows when a prototype is good enough to validate an idea. They are equally comfortable in a
whiteboard session on AI architecture and presenting a business case to a CFO.
Duties and Responsibilities
Use Case Identification \& Business Cases
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for agentic AI and automation across business
- Build structured business cases — framing the problem, quantifying the opportunity, and
- Work with business teams to translate their operational pain points into well\-scoped AI
Measurement \& Tracking
- Define KPIs and measurement frameworks for AI pilots and production deployments
- Design and maintain tracking dashboards to monitor performance and efficiency gains of
- Synthesise pilot results and learnings into clear summaries for leadership
- Flag underperforming initiatives early and recommend adjustments
- Rapidly build working prototypes for AI use cases using LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI,
- Scope PoCs tightly to answer a specific feasibility or value question, not to build
- Document what was tested, what worked, and what the limitations are; hand off clearly
- Stay current on the evolving LLM and agentic AI landscape and bring relevant
AI Architecture Support
- Participate in architecture discussions for AI initiatives, contributing a business and
- Evaluate architectural trade\-offs (e.g. RAG vs fine\-tuning, agent orchestration patterns,
- Help define data requirements, integration points, and guardrails for AI systems being
- Contribute to the development of internal AI operating principles and governance
AI Change Management \& Adoption
- Support the organisation's transition to working with LLMs and agentic AI tools —
- Develop and deliver lightweight enablement materials, guides, and best practices that
- Act as an internal resource for teams navigating questions about what LLMs can and
- Help define and communicate responsible AI usage principles across business
- Identify adoption blockers — whether cultural, practical, or technical — and work with
- Track and report on AI maturity across the organisation, surfacing insights that help
Qualifications / Personal Characteristics
Must Have
- 3–5 years in a business analyst, data analyst, or technical product role
- Hands\-on experience building with LLM APIs — you have written prompts, called APIs,
- Comfort with Python or a similar language at a prototyping level — not production
- Understanding of how modern AI systems are architected — agents, tool use,
- Strong analytical and communication skills — able to build rigorous business cases and
- Self\-sufficient and structured — able to scope ambiguous problems, drive them to a
Nice to Have
- Experience with the Gemini API (Claude), OpenAI API, or similar; familiarity with
- Exposure to agentic AI patterns — multi\-step workflows, tool\-use agents, MCP
- Experience in travel tech, e\-commerce, or a fast\-moving technology company
- Exposure to BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) and working with data teams
- Background in finance, operations, or product analytics
