Pay: £14\.00 – £18\.50 per hour, depending on experience and ability

KP Agri Ltd is looking for an experienced Agricultural / Plant Service Engineer to join our busy and growing workshop in Llandow.

This is a proper hands\-on engineering role for someone who can fault\-find, diagnose and repair machinery correctly — not just change parts until the problem goes away.

We are main dealers for several leading agricultural manufacturers and also carry out a strong amount of selected mixed\-brand repair work for our customer base across South Wales and beyond.

The role will start mainly in the workshop, giving you time to understand our systems, standards, brands and customer expectations. Once your ability and independence are proven, the role will progress into mobile work and breakdown support.

Main dealer brands we represent include:

Krone
Teagle
Bauer
Trioliet
HORSCH
Dieci

You will be working on new and used machinery from these brands, including servicing, diagnostics, repairs and warranty work where applicable.

Other machinery we regularly work on

Alongside our franchise brands, we also work on selected customer\-owned machinery. Experience with the following brands would be a strong advantage:

JCB
New Holland
Case
Claas

This includes servicing, diagnostics, repairs and breakdown work on both modern and older machines.

We do not try to cover every brand of machinery. We focus mainly on the makes listed above, so relevant experience is important.

What you’ll be doing

Diagnosing, servicing and repairing agricultural machinery
Working on tractors, loaders, implements and dealer franchise machinery
Carrying out workshop repairs, with progression into mobile and breakdown work
Completing job cards accurately and on time
Working safely, professionally and to a high standard
Attending manufacturer and in\-house training when required

What we’re looking for

Strong hands\-on mechanical experience is essential
Background in agricultural machinery, plant machinery or similar
Able to diagnose faults independently and think for yourself
Confident working on real mechanical repairs, not just basic servicing
Willing to prove ability in the workshop before progressing to mobile work
Full UK driving licence
Basic IT skills and job card experience

This role is not suitable for applicants without genuine mechanical experience.
