The Opportunity
We are supporting a friendly and forward-thinking GP surgery in Surrey seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) with paediatric experience to join their team.
This role is ideal for an ANP or experienced Paediatric Practice Nurse looking to work in a collaborative primary care setting, delivering high-quality care to a paediatric patient population.
Key Details
- Sessions: 3 sessions per week
- Working days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Typical working pattern: Afternoon sessions (flexible)
- Extended Access: Wednesday evening cover until 8pm
- Contract type: Open to both locum and permanent candidates
In this role, you will:
- Manage and assess paediatric patients within a primary care setting
- Deliver autonomous clinical care including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Provide advice and support to families and carers
- Work collaboratively with GPs and the wider clinical team
- Contribute to safe, effective, and patient-centred care pathways
- Qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner or experienced Practice Nurse with paediatric experience
- Current NMC registration
- Strong experience in managing paediatric patients
- Confident working autonomously with excellent clinical decision-making skills
- Competitive salary £45,000–£50,000 (pro rata)
