Adult Social Worker - Learning Disabilities

<p style="text-align: justify;">Liquid Personnel is recruiting an Adult Social Worker to join its client’s Learning Disabilities team, based in Manchester Council. This is a locum role offering £30 per hour.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What will your responsibilities be?<br></strong><br>In this role, you will:</p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>Undertake strength‑based assessments including Care Act assessments, reviews, and Mental Capacity Act assessments for adults with learning disabilities, ensuring needs, risks, and desired outcomes are clearly identified</li>
<li>Develop and coordinate personalised care and support plans, commission services, and manage a varied caseload to promote independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals including health services, providers, families, and safeguarding partners</li>
<li>Complete safeguarding enquiries and manage risks effectively while promoting the rights and safety of adults with learning disabilities</li>
<li>Maintain accurate case records and ensure all work is in line with statutory requirements and best practice</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Qualifications & Experience:<br></strong><br>To be successful in this role you must have:</p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>Social Work England registration</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the UK</li>
<li>Hold a full UK driving licence</li>
<li>Post-qualified experience</li>
<li>Degree level or equivalent in Social Work</li>
</ul>
