Adult Social Care Lawyer

Are you an experienced Solicitor, Barrister or CILEX Lawyer looking to use your legal expertise to positively impact the lives of vulnerable adults and communities?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Clients Legal Services team, providing high-quality legal advice and support across Adult Social Care matters while working alongside senior officers, elected members and key stakeholders.

As an Adult Social Care Lawyer, you'll manage a varied and complex caseload, advising on sensitive and often high-profile matters while supporting our clients' strategic objectives.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Advise on Adult Social Care law and related local government matters


• Provide high-quality legal advice to officers, senior managers and elected members


• Conduct advocacy in Courts and Tribunals where appropriate


• Manage your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy


• Support governance, policy and strategic projects


• Deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders


• Contribute to service improvement and innovation within Legal Services


• Mentor and support junior colleagues where appropriate

• Politically aware and confident working with senior stakeholders
