Thia role is to primarily ensure that the NHS activity at the Hospital is processed and administered as per the policies and contractual obligations of both Nuffield and the local NHS CCG’s. This will include acting as primary contact with the local CCG’s and the Trusts within the catchment dependent on demand. Ongoing monitoring of contract performance will be a key responsibility. A secondary part of the role will be to support the Health and safety lead at the Hospital.
The responsibilities as NHS Contracts/GRS Team Administrator include :
- Daily download of referrals from portal
- Checking referrals against DOS
- GRS Pre Assessment bookings
- Requesting imaging from other Hospitals
- Communicating with relevant consultants
- Liaising with POA nurses to check medical suitability
- Preparing and sending clinic letters
- Collating and unpacking clinic bags and auctioning outcomes
- Booking appointments and follow ups
- Liaising with other departments re outcomes from Consultants
- Providing authoritative and pragmatic advice and support to sites and service lines
- Proactively engage with and collaborate with stakeholders including property and clinical quality
- Working across Nuffield to agree targets and work streams to deliver continuous improvement in health and safety, and other risks
- Conducting audits and inspections in accordance with the programme
