OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Temporary Materials Buyer to provide additional support to our Project Teams and central operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual with strong administrative and IT skills to join a busy construction business.
This role offers more than traditional procurement administration. As part of a close\-knit support team, you will also have the opportunity to assist with wider business administration activities, gaining exposure to project delivery, document management, digital systems and operational support functions across the company.
This role is provisionally being advertised on a six\-month basis, but maybe extended subject to business requirements.
KEY Responsibilities:
- Liaise between site teams and suppliers to source material quotations.
- Process purchase orders for construction materials and maintain accurate records.
- Assist project teams by processing and communicating material requests and order statuses.
Previous experience within procurement or the construction industry would be advantageous but not essential.

- This is a full\-time position, ideally working 8\.15am to 5\.00pm. We can consider reduced hours, subject to the successful candidate working across five days each week.
