Your new company
I am currently working with a fast-growing construction business based in Blackpool who deliver high-quality projects across social housing and the public sector. As they continue to expand and improve their systems, they are looking for additional support within their office team on a temporary basis whilst they go through internal changes to their operating systems.
Your new role
I am seeking a temporary Administrator / Scheduler to join a small, friendly team. This is a varied role supporting day-to-day operations during a busy period of system transition, where accuracy, organisation and a proactive approach are essential.
You will play a key role in ensuring the current systems are maintained and updated while we transition to a new platform. Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • General administrative support across the business

  • Raising purchase orders and processing invoices

  • Manually inputting and updating jobs on in-house systems

  • Supporting the preparation and clean-up of data ahead of a system migration

  • Ensuring existing records are accurate and up to date

  • Assisting with scheduling works and job allocation

  • Providing customer service support, including handling calls and queries

  • Liaising with operatives, suppliers, and internal teams

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced administrator who has a strong attention to detail and works well as part of a small team. You will be happy to work full time 5 days a week in the office and pride yourself on providing first-class service at all times. You will be comfortable working with systems and handling data accurately and have the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads.

What you'll get in return
You will get the opportunity to work within a fast-growing business and will work between the hours of 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. You will be based on site 5 days per week and will get paid £14.24-£15.60 per hour depending on experience. You will work in a busy, fast-paced environment and be highly valued for the work you undertake. This role is to start immediately and will be for 3 months initially. It may also be extended depending on performance and business needs.
