On behalf of Nationwide, AMS are seeking an Administrator until for a 3\-month contract, working within our People Operations team at Nationwide House, Pipers Way, Swindon.

As an Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for supporting our People Operations team, helping to ensure the smooth delivery of training programmes across NBS. We’re looking for people who are organised, proactive and genuinely enjoy providing excellent administrative support. If you take pride in your attention to detail and enjoy working behind the scenes to help others succeed, this could be the role for you.

You’ll receive full training, along with the support of a friendly and experienced team who will coach and guide you, ensuring you have everything you need to succeed in your role.

In this role, you’ll support the administration of training programmes delivered across NBS, assisting with the day\-to\-day coordination and back\-office processes that help ensure training runs efficiently and effectively.

We're offering a £14\.29 hourly rate, working a total of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

*During the training period You’ll be required to work onsite at Nationwide, Monday \- Friday 9am\-5pm – 5 days a week for your first 1\-2 weeks, depending on progress.*

*At Nationwide, we support at home working approach wherever possible, giving you the flexibility to do your best work from home for the majority of your time. Following the training period, you’ll be required to attend the office for 40% of your working week and the remaining 60% can be done remotely. The team you will be going into works from the office* *Monday and Tuesday every week**, with the rest of the week working from home if you wish.*

Job description \- the role What you'll be doing

  • Providing administrative support for the coordination and delivery of training programmes across NBS

  • Managing course bookings, learner records and training data, ensuring information is accurate and up to date

  • Using Excel at an intermediate level and internal systems to maintain spreadsheets, track programme attendance and support reporting requirements efficiently

  • Producing and supporting Management Information (MI) reports, helping to ensure the right people are enrolled on the right programmes

  • Responding to queries from Learning \& Development teams and other business stakeholders in a professional and timely manner

  • Supporting the wider People Operations team with day\-to\-day administration and ad hoc requests
Preparing communications and updates for colleagues and stakeholders, including managers and senior employees
  • Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks to help ensure training programmes run smoothly and efficiently
Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills \& experience About you

If you've got previous administration experience, enjoy working with data and are confident using Excel, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. We're looking for someone who is organised, adaptable and enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment. You'll be comfortable managing large amounts of information, communicating with a variety of stakeholders and supporting multiple priorities at once.

Experience within a People Operations, HR or Learning \& Development environment would be beneficial, but isn't essential as full training will be provided. Most importantly, you'll be eager to learn, have a positive attitude and take pride in delivering a high standard of work.

We need you to:

  • Have previous administration experience in a busy office environment

  • Be confident using Microsoft Excel and working with large spreadsheets and data sets

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Be confident communicating with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, including senior managers

  • Be adaptable, personable and willing to learn new processes and systems

  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Be comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information

  • Have strong problem\-solving skills and a proactive approach to supporting others
