Administrative & Operations Assistant
The Role
A varied and important position at the heart of the business \- supporting buying, stock management, supplier admin, sales support, and general office operations. The right person will be organised, accurate, comfortable working with systems, and happy to turn their hand to whatever needs doing.

*Key Responsibilities*
Stock, Orders \& Logistics
- Maintain stock delivery sheets, allocation records, and chase shipment confirmations
- Print and prepare daily dispatch labels
- Support stock sheet preparation and distribution to customers and agents
- Add new products to the website and FAIRE; file customer orders and invoices
- Scheduling container bookings
- Create and maintain product records in Sage (SKUs, barcodes, descriptions, pricing)
- Enter purchase orders into Sage; chase suppliers for updates, dates, and samples
- Support QC logging and reporting
- Assist with special order admin and customer ETAs
- Sample management — tracking, sending, logging agent samples
- Maintain pricelists and purchase order templates
- Cross\-check goods received data
- Raise straightforward invoices
- Check supplier paperwork
- Maintain shipping cost records
- Send balance lists, stock updates, and ETAs to agents and customers
- Relay messages between agents, office, and warehouse staff
- Answer phones, handle email queries, manage supplies, filing, and daily mail
- Sample management — tracking, sending, logging agent samples
- Assist with MailChimp campaigns, social media scheduling, and website product updates
- Sort, file, and manage digital product images and marketing assets
Essential
- Proven office experience in a busy administrative or operations support role
- Confident with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); Sage experience a strong advantage
- Accurate data entry, sharp eye for detail, and clear written and verbal communication
- Able to manage your own workload, prioritise, and keep multiple tasks moving
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and communication skills
- Practical “getting things done” approach — dependable, discreet, and happy to get stuck in
- Friendly and professional with colleagues and customers alike
£26,000–£28,000 depending on experience · Stable local employment · Varied role with real responsibility from day one, where you'll build broad skills across a genuinely wide range of business functions.

Pay: £26,000\.00\-£28,000\.00 per year
