Administrative Assistant

Reporting to: Head of Business Services
Location: Head Office
Job Type: Part\-Time / Full\-Time (depending on requirement)

About the Role

Triquetra Construction Group Ltd are looking for a proactive and highly organised Business Support Administrator to support the day\-to\-day running of our growing construction business. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the business and genuinely make a difference within the team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast\-paced environment, and is confident managing multiple tasks at once. You will work closely with the Head of Business Services, supporting operational, administrative, project coordination, marketing and office management functions across the business.

No two days are the same, so we are looking for someone who is adaptable, switched on, solutions\-focused, and willing to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Supporting the Head of Business Services with daily business operations

  • Assisting with project mobilisation for upcoming construction projects

  • Coordinating supplier bookings, deliveries and procurement administration

  • Assisting with labour coordination and operational planning

  • Preparing and issuing weekly client and resident updates

  • Managing office administration and maintaining office supplies

  • Supporting with accreditations, PQQ submissions and compliance documentation

  • Assisting with HR administration, onboarding paperwork and staff records

  • Answering incoming calls and directing queries appropriately

  • Maintaining strong communication with site teams, suppliers and clients

  • Assisting with vehicle, plant and operational administration

  • Supporting marketing activities including social media, website updates and company brochures

  • Assisting with document formatting, reports and general business support tasks

  • Helping ensure systems, trackers and internal processes are maintained accurately
What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous administration or office support experience

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to multitask and manage workload effectively

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to work proactively and use initiative

  • Professional and approachable manner

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Desirable:
  • Experience within construction or property sectors

  • Experience supporting operational teams

  • Experience with procurement, scheduling or project coordination

  • Experience using Canva or social media platforms

  • Experience with compliance or accreditation administration
