Administrative Assistant

Our client is looking for an organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join their Inbound Logistics team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring shipment information, documentation, and system records are processed accurately and efficiently to support the smooth movement of goods into their warehouses.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide administrative support to the Inbound Logistics team, ensuring shipment, delivery, and stock information is accurately maintained within company systems.
- Raise and update Goods Received Notes (GRNs), shipment trackers, schedules, reports, and other logistics documentation.
- Monitor shared inboxes, respond to routine enquiries, and liaise with suppliers, hauliers, warehouses, and internal departments to support the smooth flow of information.
- Check documentation and system data for accuracy, highlighting discrepancies where required and maintaining accurate records in line with company procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documentation.
- Prioritise workloads effectively to meet deadlines, support colleagues during busy periods, and undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.
- Strong administrative and data entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
