The Role

We are seeking a motivated and organised Admin / Trade Counter Assistant to join our busy Paisley office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast\-paced environment, enjoys interacting with customers, and has strong administrative skills.

The successful applicant will have prior experience in an administrative setting and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages.

Given the nature of our busy trade counter, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. You will be expected to engage with customers professionally, provide outstanding service, and handle enquiries effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service at our trade counter, dealing with enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

  • Maintain and update customer records.

  • Provide general administrative support to the team.

  • Assist with coordinating deliveries and collections.
You will work as part of a small, supportive team focused on exceptional customer service. Our team works collaboratively to ensure that every customer receives the best possible experience.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in basic Maths and English.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • A positive work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar administrative role.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Accurate and efficient keyboard skills.

Desirable Skills (Advantageous)

  • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/CRM.

  • Understanding of transport/logistics processes.

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Saturday rota during summer months).

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
