Accounts Senior – Whitehaven

Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a leading accountancy firm in Whitehaven.
The role would suit an ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or finalist Accountant with previous practice experience.
The Role • Manage a varied SME client portfolio

  • Prepare statutory and management accounts

  • Prepare Corporation Tax computations

  • Assist with VAT and tax compliance

  • Deal directly with clients and provide accounting advice

  • Review work and support junior team members

About You • ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or finalist
  • Previous accountancy practice experience

  • Strong accounts preparation and tax knowledge

  • Good client communication skills

  • Experience with accounting software
