The Accounts Semi Senior role would suit someone studying towards ACA or ACCA, or an experienced practice professional looking to further their career within a modern Accountancy environment.
Based in London, this position offers exposure to a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and entrepreneurial clients across multiple sectors.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for a wide range of clients
- Assisting with management accounts, VAT returns, and cash flow reporting
- Supporting managers and senior staff with client portfolio work
- Working extensively with cloud-based accounting software including Xero
- Building strong relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
- Supporting digital accounting processes and cloud migration projects
- Assisting with bookkeeping and financial reporting assignments where required
- Ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met efficiently
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Experience preparing accounts for a variety of businesses and client types
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and cloud accounting platforms
- Exposure to software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or similar packages
- Studying towards ACA or ACCA, or qualified through practical experience
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
- Organised, motivated, and able to manage workload effectively
- A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within the Accountancy sector
- £32,000 - £40,000 salary depending on experience
