You'll report directly to the Senior Manager and take ownership of accounts production across a varied portfolio of sole traders and partnerships, while being a key point of contact for clients. What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing accounts for sole traders and partnerships
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and deliver a responsive, professional service
- Managing your workload across multiple clients and consistently meeting deadlines
- Supporting with bookkeeping and payroll where required
- Upholding the high standards expected within a growing, reputable group practice
- Minimum 3 years' practical experience within an accountancy practice
- At least AAT qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accountancy software, IRIS experience is a real advantage
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle priorities effectively
- Confident communicator and comfortable dealing with clients directly, in writing and face-to-face
- Professional and discreet when handling sensitive client information
- Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade A–C (or equivalent), including Maths and English
- Payroll experience is a bonus, but not essential
- Salary of £30,000+, depending on experience
