Due to retirement, a position has become available within our busy accounts office in Leyland on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 to 40 hours per week. We offer flexible working hours and days and also offer the potential for hybrid working once training is complete.
Your new role:
To assist as required in all job roles within the accounts department, as well as providing general administrational support to the whole team.
Your new role will include but not be limited to:
- Maintaining fixed asset register, accruals \& prepayment schedules
- Reconciliation of monies received into the bank
- IFRS16 journal posting \& reconciliation
- Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
- Entering supplier invoices and checking goods received on our EPOS system
- Assisting with processing monthly payroll run \& uploads to HMRC
- Support human resources functions by maintaining employee records, processing new hires, terminations, and benefits administration.
- To assist team members with overflow work.
- To learn other job roles to offer support and/or cover holiday and sickness
- All candidates are required to have 4 GCSEs, grades C and above (inc Maths and English) or an equivalent qualification.
- 2 years’ experience in accounts \& payroll is essential.
- Accounts qualifications preferred but not essential.
- Experience and good understanding of Sage Accounts \& Sage Payroll
- The ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment

- Good computer literacy
- Ability to use Excel, Word \& Google applications

Our office is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5:30pm and closed at weekends \& bank holidays. Flexible working hours to be mutually agreed.
