Accounts Payable Assistant

This role would suit someone with a background in Accounts Payable within the construction industry, particularly with experience handling subcontractor payments and working knowledge of CIS requirements.

Working within a busy finance function, responsibilities will include:

• Processing subcontractor invoices and payments


• Managing subcontractor verification and deductions


• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance


• Supplier statement reconciliations


• Supporting the wider Accounts Payable function


• Handling supplier and subcontractor queries


• Assisting with payment runs and month-end processes

• Have previous experience dealing with subcontractor payments and CIS processes


• Come from an Accounts Payable or finance background


• Be highly organised with strong attention to detail


• Be confident working in a fast-paced environment


• Short notice period is preferable


• Have excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
