Purpose of the Role:

To maintain employee files, time and attendance and collate all information required to process weekly payroll.

To ensure all cash is counted, lodged and procedures are followed in line with cash handling procedures.

About The Role

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Wages

  • All day to day maintenance of employee files in TMS and ensure payroll deadlines are met

  • Liaise with all Managers and Head Office Payroll Department on payroll matters regarding resolution of payroll related queries and ensure all issues are dealt with in a timely, regular and efficient manner.

  • Ensure reports are distributed weekly to Managers, Area Managers and Head Office as per payroll procedures
Cash
  • All day to day cash procedures are followed in line with Cash Handling Procedures

  • Liaise with all Managers and Head Office Cash Department on cash handling matters and ensure all issues are dealt with in a timely, regular and efficient manner.

  • Ensure reports are distributed weekly to Managers, Area Managers and Head Office as per cash procedures
Expectancies
  • Follow up on e\-mail administration as required

  • Weekly one\-to\-one meetings with managers to address any issues or queries

  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee information

  • To be aware of and ensure compliance of our statutory obligation with regard to current legislation

  • To be punctual, reliable and trustworthy, maintaining confidentiality at all times in respect of all Fitzgerald Groups related matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential and sensitive information
Required Criteria
  • Ability to accurately maintain employee files and records.

  • Ability to collate all necessary information for weekly payroll processing.

  • Ability to strictly follow established cash handling procedures.

  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to handle confidential employee and financial information with discretion.
Desired Criteria
  • Previous experience in an accounts administration or similar administrative role.

  • Experience with payroll systems or time and attendance software.
