We are seeking an energetic and detail\-oriented Accounts Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. Duties

• Oversee day\-to\-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable management


• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft to maintain accurate financial records


• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to support strategic decision\-making


• Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations


• Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering professional growth and development


• Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly


• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure adherence to financial policies

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial management within a corporate or manufacturing environment


• Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft


• Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices


• Experience with accounts payable processes and financial reporting


• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively


• Ability to mentor team members and promote a collaborative work environment


• Knowledge of the financial services sector is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: £16\.00\-£18\.00 per hour
