Accounts Assistant

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and financial records are maintained to a high standard.

- Process purchase invoices, credit notes, and expense claims accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate invoice discrepancies.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and cash postings.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices and statements.
- Support month-end and year-end finance processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Assist with payroll administration where required.
- Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation.
- Undertake general finance administration duties as required.

- AAT qualified or currently studying towards an AAT qualification.
- Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
